Ever been curious about yoga, but feel intimidated going to a regular class? Have wrist injuries or knee sensitives? Have you had surgery, and aren't quite ready for a regular yoga class yet? Have limited mobility getting up from the floor?
Well this class is for YOU! Energizing Chair Yoga allows you to practice movement, strengthen your core, improve hip and shoulder mobility, and work on balance, all while using the support of a chair. Chair yoga doesn't necessarily mean easy. This class will definitely get you moving and give you a good, full body practice!
Class begins with a short mediation to ground you in the present moment and connect to your breath. We will the move through seated warm up postures, before moving through a variety of strength building mobility exercises and standing postures using the chair. We will finish will some cool down stretches before savasana. All you need is an armless chair for practice!
