About the Event
Most of of spend lots of time at the computer. This class is a great break in your day to create an intentional time for movement and combat the stiffness that happens from working at a screen! This is also just a great class for anyone who has knee or wrist sensitivies/injuries who is looking for an accessible yoga class!
In this class we will practice mindful movement, strengthen your core, improve hip and shoulder mobility, and work on balance, all while using the support of a chair. Chair yoga doesn't necessarily mean easy. This class will definitely get you moving and give you a good, full body practice!
Class begins with a short mediation to ground you in the present moment and connect to your breath. We will the move through seated warm up postures, before moving through a variety of strength building mobility exercises and standing postures using the chair and well finish with a couple cool down postures and a short savasana.
All you need is an armless chair for practice!
